Windows 10: Error code 0x80070002

Hey guys, this has been bothering me all day and last night. I’ve tried to update my pc many times now with the KB5031356 update. No matter what I do it always gets to the restart process, gets to about 7% then starts saying it couldn’t do it, undoing changes. The error code in settings is 0x80070002. Like I said, I’ve tried many different options like scanning for corrupt files, troubleshoots, restarting certain devices in the command prompt and nothing works. I’m on windows 10 pro and I’ve got an AMD build. I don’t know if it’s related but my Intel I211 Gigabit Network Connection driver is a

Error 0x80070002 when trying to update Windows

I have been having issues for months with Windows 10 updates failing due to Error 0x80070002 on my gaming laptop. The full message reads:

2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4503286) -Error 0x80070002.

I am currently on version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590) and I'm being told "You're currently running a version of windows that's nearing the end of support. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 now to get the latest features and security improvements."

I have followed the instructions on Error Code 0x80070002 Fixed – Eassos Step-by-Step Tutorial but this hasn't resolved the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?
