Windows 10: Error code 0x80070022 in Windows 10: Copies some files but not others

Hello,

I have a problem with my Windows 10 computer when I try to copy files from my Panasonic AJ-PCS060G which is a P2 card reader (USB 2.0) for Panasonic Pro video cameras.



This is a recent problem, it used to work fine. I am not aware of any program changes in the computer that is having this problem.


It still works fine on my old Windows XP computer and on my Dell Laptop. These computers have no problem copying all of the files from the reader.


Here is the strange part: on the Windows 10 computer it will copy some of the files but not all of them.

It will copy the .mxf files from the Audio folder

it will copy the .xml files from the Clip folder

it will copy the .bmp files from the Icon folder

and it will copy the .txt file from the root of the disk

but it won't copy the .mxf files from the Video folder.


This is not a size issue either, because the largest audio file is larger than the smallest video file. The largest audio file is 51MB, and the smallest video file is 41MB. They both have .mxf file types. It will copy the audio file but not the video file.


I have reinstalled the Panasonic P2 drivers

I have tried this in Safe Mode

I have tried this in Clean Boot Mode.

I have tried copying them as a group, individually, the smallest file, the largest file, it doesn't matter, it won't copy them.

It is the same no matter what I have tried, it will copy all of the files except the video files.

It gives me the error code 0x80070022 "The wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert %2 (volume serial number: %3) into drive %1." when it gets to the video files.


System specs of the computer that doesn't work:
Windows 10 pro
Puget Systems
Intel core i7 6850k cpu@3.60Ghz 3.60 GHz
RAM 32.0 GB
64 bit operating system, x64 based processor

System specs of the computer that does work:
Windows XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack 3
HP Workstation xw8200
Intel Xeon CPU 3.4GHz 3.4 GHz
RAM 3.00 GB

System specs of the laptop that does work:
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
Dell N5110
Intel Core i3-2310M CPU @ 2.1GHz 2.1GHz
RAM 6.0 GB
64 bit operating system,

I have searched the community but have not found any solutions.

Any help would be appreciated.

File Copy Error in Windows 7

Hi,


I'm trying to copy files from my extrenal drive, but i keep getting an error (see screenshot). I have also tried using Teracopy, which gets the same error.


Has this happened to anyone before?

I'm running windows 7 btw. & i have used multiple USB ports on my system.

• When you say 'copying files' are you referring to burning disc?

If yes then refer the link below suggested by Andre Da Costa on June 3, 2015
and follow the steps below.

Burn CD's with windows 10

Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one
