    Error code 0x80070035


    I have been getting the error code 0x80070035; "The network path was not found" from one of the computers on my local network ever since I changed the properties of TCP/IPv4 from obtain an IP address automatically to setting to a specific IP address on the network. This change also required that I specify specific DNS server addresses. I made this change to allow me to use remote desktop from outside the local network.


    Can someone advise on how to get rid of this error code and allow me to access my computer's assets from other computers on my local network?

    Hi,
    I am unable to access one of three computers on my local network via File Explorer
    I can access the other two and I can access a network local external drive.
    The error is :
    error code 0x80070035 the network path was not found
    This expands into:
    one or more network protocols are missing on this computer
    windows sockets registry entries required for netork connectivity are missing
    The post from SimBy in Network Protocols says to disable netbios over TCP/IP.

    I don't know how to do that.
    Does someone have a suggestion for me?

    Error code: 0x80070035

    I have two machines, one on windows 10 and one on 7. This morning both would not connect to 1 of our 3 servers. I kept getting Error code: 0x80070035 After unsuccessfully trying the suggestions in this community
    I finally changed my user names for the server from Jerry1 and Jerry2 to test1 and test2 and now both machines connect fine. WHat is going on with that?
