Windows 10: Error Code 0x80070246 in Windows 11 !!

Hi all.This error code seemds to be a constant pain for Microsoft, but no one yet I have found has the real answer to the cure the problem.I have now been callled to a Windows 11 system that has this very error code and I can also say that running SFC will not run as the Windows Resource Protection stops any changes to the System files and the Registry.Perhaps the SFC needs an update as it obviuly did noty work well in Windows10.Can anyone give me the final amswer to this problem or at least something to try.Peter

Windows Update - Error 0x80070246


Unfortunately I faced problems on many steps of the process.
1. "specify settings for optional component installation and component repair" was fine.
2. "WSReset.exe" opened windows store, I guess it's also fine.
3. "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" please see screenshot:





4. "dism /online /cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup" please see screenshot:





5. "sfc /scannow" please see screenshot:





6. "powershell" gave me "PS C:\Windows\system32>" so I guess it's fine.

7. "Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}" please see screenshot:






I checked Windows update after that and restarted and rechecked with no luck.

Any suggestions? *Sad

 

Error: 0x80070246, when installing cumulative updates

1. What was the result of SFC scan?
   
2. Which option was selected during the reset of PC?
   
3. What is the make and model of the PC?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Install the updates in safe mode with networking. Refer the article to

Error Code 0x80070246

Hi, I have problems in updating Microsoft. When I click update, it will load for a while and then it will pop up saying that something went wrong and the error code is 0x80070246. Other than that, when I want to open the Windows Update
at Settings it just keep loading and won't show me any info. Thus, my Microsoft word, power point, sheet etc can't open because of this problem, when I open them, they keep saying that it has run into an error preventing it from working correctly and it need
to be closed to repair it, but this situation have happen many times. Can someone help me to solve this problem ?
