Windows 10: Error code 0x800703e6 from windows update

I've been having this error since last month and I've never had a problem with windows update that I wasn't able to fix. This is the first problem that I can't seem to fix despite following the answers given in other threads like:sfc /scannowdism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealthtried resetting the update componentsI really want to fix this without resetting my windows.

I need help getting Windows Update to work.

My device is missing important security and quality fixes. "There were problems downloading some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this, try searching the web or contacting support for help. This error code might help: (0x800703e6)"

Already tried these steps:

1. Press Windows key + X

2. Click Command Prompt (Admin)

3. Type the following command:

rundll32.exe pnpclean.dll,RunDLL_PnpClean /DRIVERS /MAXCLEAN

4. Hit Enter on your keyboard

5. Exit command prompt

6. Restart

If you still can't update your Windows, Here are the steps to reset Windows Update components:

1. Use the Windows key + X to open the Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).
   
2. Stop the BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service), Windows Update service, and Cryptographic service. Type the following commands and make sure to press Enter on each line:
   

net stop bits

net stop wuauserv

net stop appidsvc

net stop cryptsvc

3. Delete all the qmgr*.dat files created by BITS from your PC. Type the following command and press Enter:

Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat"

4. Clear the Windows Update cache to allow Windows 10 re-download the updates, instead of using the files already downloaded on your system that might be damaged. Type the following commands and make sure to press Enter on each line:

rmdir %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution /S /Q

rmdir %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 /S /Q

Here is what the error code means:

0x800703e6

Invalid access to memory location.

Step 1:

Press: Windows key

Type: disk cleanup

run disk cleanup as Administrator

scan C drive

select "Windows update cleanup" checkbox

Hit OK to clean up drive

reboot system

try to update again

Step 2:

If previous step doesn't work

Press: Windows key

type: Settings hit enter

type: Trouble

select: "Troubleshoot settings"

Scroll down, in the list click on
"Windows update"

Let troubleshooter try to solve the problem.

reboot system

Try to update again

Step 3:

If previous steps doesn't work

Browse code samples

Download the script by clicking on a script name button, save to C:\ drive root

Right click on start button

select Powershell (Administrator)

Copy/paste bellow code into the console:

Hit Enter and wait for operation to complete

reboot system

try update again.

Step 4:

If previous steps do not work:
