Error Code 0x80070570 - How to re-install Win 10 after deleting Win 7

    Hey guys,

I'm new to Windows and have just built my first gaming PC ever. Tried installing Win 10 Home from a USB and got the Error 0x80070570.

Then, I installed Win 7 but now neither mouse or keyboard work. As I type this thread, I'm following the video below on how to create another bootable USB. However, I'm wondering now how to delete Win 7 before I try to install Win 10 over again.

Thank you very much for any help in advance,

    :)

  2. Semi-Complex Activation Issue

If you clean installed before updating first you will need to re-install win 7 or purchase a win 10 key. Win 10 is an update to an existing and qualifying OS.

Are you getting an error code?

  3. Win 10 install failure with error code 8007000D

I am trying to install Win 10 from Win 7 64-bit. First I could not download and received error code 80240020. Microsoft had a solution that involved deleting the Downloads in Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download. When I followed the additional instructions
provided byDenilson Alwxandre Silva on 07/28/15, it worked. When the system tried to install, however, error code 8007000D appeared and the installation failed. There seems to be older solutions involving this error code for Win 7 and SP installations, but
nothing seems to work with Win 10. I tried those solutions without success. Is there a specific Win 10 error code 8007000D and a solution?

Error Code 0x80070570 - How to re-install Win 10 after deleting Win 7

Clean Install Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials
    - e.g. steps 12,13 deal with existing partitions.

It's a routine part of Windows installation to deal with that.

Try following all the instructions there carefully.

You could even create a bootable disk e.g. Kyhi's with utilities on it, from the top of the Software and Apps section here, boot your PC from it and use one of the utilities to erase your disk if you wished, and you'd then also have a useful tool.

Note that with a new PC, EFI with GPT disk format is preferred, rather than legacy BIOS. (See the tutorial).
