    Error code 0x80073712. I have tried various solutions, including running the update troubleshooter, running DISM and SFC tools, scanning for malware etc, reinstalling windows. I've even tried to manually download for the update catalog, but installation fails.


    When I reinstalled windows, several updates were installed, but the following 2 updates keep failing and I don't understand why

    Problem updates are:

    October 8, 2019-KB4524098 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1803

    October 15, 2019-KB4519572 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1803


    My PC specs are:

    OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Home
    Version: 10.0.17134 Build 17134
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
    RAM: 16.0 GB
