Windows 10: Error code 0x801901f4 - No login to Microsoft account possible on PC

I am new to the community due to a problem I was unable to fix until now sorry if I might tag my question with the wrong topic:


I am working with a Windows 10 machine new PC, installed December 2019. All Microsoft updates are installed.

I was working with Bitdefender antivirus. Everything worked fine from the beginning.


Until February 2020 I logged in as Microsoft User. What was strange from the beginning: login into my online outlook account was very strange. After clicking "Login" I had and still have to wait about 2 minutes until I can enter my login details. On the login page are no pictures displayed same "problem" in Firefox, Brave, Opera and Edge.

Then suddenly I got Windows messages about my user account that had to be identified.

I did the identification online with my Outlook-Account and got the Identification Code to my mobile.

But some days later I got the same message user account identification again.

Around the same time I was not able to receive Updates from Bitdefender antivirus anymore. After deleting Bitdefender from my PC completely I was and still am not able to reinstall it anymore. I can download the agent that would install the program but I can not download the program. I do not know how or why but the two problems seem to be connected / have the same cause. What is "suspicious" about that connection is that in all Browsers I use Firefox, Brave, Opera, Edge only the Login-Page of Outlook online and the Bitdefender webpage are displayed without pictures. When I open the Bitdefender webpage and the Outlook online login page with Tor Browser both websites are displayed correct and much faster then in all my other browsers.
Again: I have no idea if these "problems" are connected to error code 0x801901f4.


I changed my PC login to "local account" - hoping that I could somehow solve work around the Problem.


Since then I can not login to Microsoft apps on my PC anymore and I can not register a Microsoft login for my current user.


I still can enter my Microsoft account online. But all my efforts to login to Microsoft Apps like Word, Outlook, Store end in the same error code Message: 0x801901f4 No more details to the error or how to fix it. I can not even enter my email address. After pressing "Login" and looking at the "Just a Moment please" message I get the error code after about 90 seconds.

I tried setting up another User on my PC. It is not possible to set up a new User with a Microsoft login Error when trying to do so.

With a new local user I have exactly the same Problem no login possible.


I tried the following found in the community:

•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
•- DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
•- sfc /scannow

Result: No Problems.


I tried deleting my antivirus program. No effect. Same problem.


I tried deleting updates from around the time the problem occurred for the first time. No effect. Same problem all Updates have been installed again afterwards.


I did NOT try reinstalling Windows jet.


We have several PCs in our household. All of them work with Microsoft logins - all of them without any problem.

My PC is running without any other problems. I can use all Microsoft apps - as long as I do not have to log in.


I do very much hope that someone can help me - and save me from setting up Windows again.

Error Code : 0x801901f4

My lumia 1520 can't login to outlook acc and store and when trying to fix the acc this massage appears ( something went wrong we're sorry, but weren't able to do that Error code : 0x801901f4 )

however i can login to my account from pc without any problem

I am a Microsoft windows 10 user

I am running version 1809

I have an issue connecting my outlook account to my windows. Whenever i try to login i recive an error 0x801901f4. I tried out in mail , store, mostly all windows app. But cant connect. I tried all the solution listed in

But still cant solve the problem

I have a very annoying problem with error 0x801901f4 and I am looking for other suggestions or solutions. It started with a Windows notification that there was a problem with my Microsoft account. Clicking on the notification to fix it, I get the message
to login but after trying I can't due to error 0x801901f4. Upon investigating the error, I discovered that it is commonly a problem with Windows Update or Windows Store.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you
