    Error status 0xc0000006

    Every time I login I get the message:

    C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft.windows.gdiplus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.1.10586.20_none_db007f1392e69ef4\gdiplus.dll is either not designed for Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or
    contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000006.

    If I look at this file, it was modified on 12-08-2015.

    Since I don’t know what program uses this file I have no way of fixing it.

    Any suggestions?

    Fall update Error code 0xc0000006

    Trying to install the Creator Fall update (1709) for over a day, using the update assistant.

    Every time the files download fine, and the download is verified, but when it's installing, I get the error code 0xc0000006.

    Searching forums or the internet in general doesn't help.

    Why do I get this error?

    Update history says I need to restart but I did that each time and then it's just like I did nothing, no install happened.
