  2. Enabling TPM causes error 0xc00000e9

Error Code 0xc00000e9: What It Means and How to Fix It

Check it out and also try resetting the BIOS(By removing the CMOS battery on motherboard without any power supply connected) and after that configure the TPM.

  3. Enabling TPM causes error 0xc00000e9

    Hi,

I have been trying to update to Windows 11, my computer meets all requirements except having the TPM enabled. I checked and my computer does have TPM 2.0 but it was disabled, so I reboot the computer and enter the UEFI to enable it. Once done I save the changes to the UEFI and the computer reboots, however once it is done booting I keep getting an error message for error 0xc00000e9 (which is a memory error) and the only workaround it to go and disable the TPM again.

Anyone experience this before or have any idea on how to fix it so that I can enable the TPM? I have not been able to locate any fix's online besides re-flashing the BIOS to whichever is the current version installed and that seems to have varying levels of success at resolving the issue, with most people having to re-flash the BIOS again a week or so later.

    Any help is appreciated,

    thanks

  4. Error code 0xc00000e9 When trying to enable TPM 2.0

    Enabling TPM causes error 0xc00000e9

    Hi Dave,

    1. My computer boots correctly both when Secure boot is on and when it is oof, so no problems with secure boot.

    2. I have tried enabling the TPM with Secure Boot on and off both result in the error message and being forced to disable the TPM again.

    3. I use a PIN to log into the computer, I can't unfortunately use Bitlocker until I get the TPM working.
