Windows 10: Error code: 0xC004F074

It says: "We can't activate Windows on this device because we can't connect to your organisation's server. Make sure that you're connected to your organisation's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organisation's support person. Error code: 0xC004F074."

I don't know what organization it meant to be, I never used this Windows on anything like that and my rationalization options are limited.

Hello,

I bought my HP laptop with windows 10 Pre-installed on March 2016. Recently a message started poping up saying

"YOUR WINDOWS LICENCE WILL EXPIRE SOON"

You need to activate windows in your settings.

And in the settings a message shows " Your windows expires on 08th August. Contact your system administrator to get a product key. ERROR CODE : 0xC004F074 "

I tried to activate it with product key I got when I purchased the product as suggested by 'https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10738/windows-activation-errors' . But it shows that Windows
can't be activated with this product key. Go to settings for more information. Error Code : 0xC004F074

Please help as to what I need to do to activate my product.

How do I fix error code 0xC004F074. I have tried troubleshooting but it hasn't worked and I haven't been able to activate windows 10 because of this error.

Currently I've upgraded windows 10 from 8.1. But I cannot activate it.

I used

slmgr /ipk "key"

slmgr /ato

but it return error code 0xC004F074.

Please help.
