Windows 10: Error Code 0xc10100bf for HUNDREDS of my video files

I've seen this question asked several times, but I've never seen a solution. I can't believe that there's not a more definitive fix or explanation. Like a few other people, I've literally had HUNDREDS of my video files - everything from home movies to video captures of lessons etc - come up with this message ever since I started using windows 10. And it's been a few years now and I'm only now getting around to asking because I just couldn't believe that there wasn't a simple explanation aka - that hundreds of my videos are now simple broken........no way......they didn't all just suddenly

Error with .Avi Files that I Desperately Need - Please HELP ERROR 0xc10100bf

Hi Everyone - I need you HELP - I have 4 files that are .AVI files with video footage on them that I need for a court case however theres a constant error that comes up being 0xc10100bf

I have downloaded the latest VCL Player direct from VCL - Does anyone else have any suggestions on how I can get these files to play

 

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

I have three thumb drives.

If I try to play some videos from my thumb drive it can not do it.

I can play some others on the same drive just fine.

I get the following message:

Can't play

This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.

If I go to my downloads and play them that way the ones that would not play on the thumb drive play just fine.

I am using the same thing/app to open all of them.

Also if I try to put them on a different thumb drive they will not play on that either although some that will not play on the first one will play on the second one and some that will not play on either will play on the third one.

Could this be due to the thumb drive itself since all videos still work in my downloads folder?

Would buying a new thumb drive fix this?

All three thumb drives are 128GB FAT32.

All videos are mp4.

I use the Movies & TV app to open them.
