Windows 10: Error Code 0xca00a009 when trying to load KB5007215 update

Updated to Windows 11 some few days ago...no problems...smooth as clockwork.Since then, the odd update ...Security, Malware tool etc downloaded ...no problem.However, the Cumulative Update KB5007215 will not download...Have tried it 5 times...no go...keeps saying 'Retry'Would appreciate some help to resolve this problem. Please bear in mind that I am quite geriatric and so nothing too complicated or over technicalplease.ps. I really like Windows 11 and am enjoying exploring the new layouts and features.Regards.FMR

Thank you for posting to the forum regarding your update error. At this point, I will provide some basic troubleshooting and request more information. There is no documentation or mention of this specific error by other customers. Please verify the following:

• What is the exact error code and message included?
• Where do you receive this error, on the PC, on the phone, in the Zune software, etc...?
• What is the current OS running on your phone, tap settings > about > more info?
• What is the OS running on your PC?

As for general troubleshooting, try the steps in this article,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484?wa=wsignin1.0. As there is no mention of your error code I do suggest you review all the steps in this article. I would start with the steps for error code 801812C1 as this is the closest code I could find to the
one posted.



If you continue to have this error after trying the above steps, please attempt the update from another PC connected to a different network. If you can we would also suggest you use another sync cable.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• Is this issue specific to the device (Are you able to connect any other device to your computer)?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message along with Error 10?
• What is the make and model of your device?

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter as it checks
for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.

Step 2: I suggest you to refer to the Microsoft support article, refer to the section Error code: 10, try the troubleshooting steps suggested and check if it helps.

Step 3: I suggest you to download and install the pending updates on your computer.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
