Windows 10: Error code 0xd0000225 for login pin not being available using Windows 11

I've had the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 for about 3 months now and I have been logging into it with no issues using facial recognition or pin since I bought it. However, as of this afternoon my laptop died and had to charge it. After charging back up I used my pin to log in and I keep receiving this error message:"Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available code: 0xd0000225. Restart your device to see if that fixes the problem."After restarting it several times it did not fix it. Its not giving me an option to log in using a password, only facial recognition which isn't working or my p

I've had this laptop (Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 2) for about 6 weeks, and I have been logging into it without issue using a pin since I bought it. However, as of this morning, when I use the pin, I keep getting this message:

"Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available (code: 0xd0000225). Restart your device to see if that fixes the problem."

Spoiler alert, restarting did not fix it. I can log in using a password, which is how I got in now, but I've restarted it several times. I've looked for this error code also, but while I have found other login/user account related errors with this number and XBox, I cannot find anything for this particular PIN login error affiliated with it. I have rerun my virus software, checked for updates, but nothing has fixed it.

Any advice?

I have a same issue
My fingerprint reader also stopped working
I dont have any other option to login other then PIN
Getting same error as

Only option is to change pin
But when try changing it have old email address and old home phone number
So we added recent mobile number it is asking to wait for 30 day
So we cant use computer for 30 days ?

I did create a PIN for this computer, however when I tried logging on using my PIN, I received an error code of "0xd0000225" that said my PIN was unavailable. I was also unable to reset my PIN - it tried going to a browser page but it said it was unavailable and to "contact IT support". I am a small business owner and do not have IT support.

I followed instructions to reset PIN from this site: Error code 0xd0000225 for login pin not being available - Microsoft Community. However since I don't have access to a password, I still cannot log onto my computer.

I have no options to get into my computer right now, either with PIN or password.
