    Error Code "101-5096" for Kodak hero 5.1 printer


    I'm on windows 10 attempting to connect an old printer to it. And I downloaded the drivers of off Kodak's website and whilst going through the installation process I encounter the aforementioned error code "101-5096" Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I recently picked up this printer secondhand- the Kodak Hero 9.1. It's in excellent condition and doesn't seem to have any problems. Except of course I can't install the drivers and actually use the thing. At the end of the driver installation process I get an Error Code 101-5096 and the program claims there's an issue with my network.

    Even Windows claims that "driver is unavailable" when trying to connect it with my list of printers and scanners.

    I've never had this problem before and most online questions about it seem to be at least 5 years old and never truly resolved. Was there ever a solution?

    yeah i resonate with you Ian im getting network error code (101-5096) during installation on my kodak ESP C315 printer. the printer works fine but windows cannot install the drive. Is there a way to connect the printer wireless without the drive

    Given error code 101-5096 when trying to install drivers for my Kodak Hero 9.1 printer

    Trying to get a Kodak Hero 9.1 printer to work.

    It has worked before on this computer, for years, but stopped recently. I think after a recent windows 10 update.

    It is WiFi connected to a BT router, with a 50Mb internet connection, the PC is also connected to this router.

    I've followed the instruction, to the point where I have downloaded the driver from the Kodak website, and run the installer.

    The installer starts up and then looks for updates, and after few seconds returns the error:

    Something is wrong with your network. Please check network setting and try again.

    Code: 101-5096

    I don't think that anything is wrong with the network, everything else is working normally.

    Can anyone help?
