    Edge: "Critical Program Error Alert"

    After following the step list here I am still getting "Error 268D3" in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.

    Getting a verbal and displayed error # 268D3 and told to call a 888 number. Don't trust this. Any suggestions?

    I received an error code while browsing the internet on my laptop -error code 268D3 - I called the number, but ended up ending the contact part way through and shutting down my computer - has my system been compromised because of my mistake?
