Windows 10: Error Code 43 NVIDIA Geforce 930MX

It says that everything is correct, but when I reset the computer, error code 43 appears, and I install it again, it is installed, but it does not work, it does not appear in the task manager, what should I do to fix this problem?

Thank you for your swift reply.

Unfortunately I have no pending NVIDIA Driver updates from the Update Window, except for the latest version of Windows 10 which unfortunately fails to install, but that is a different issue altogether.

I have attempted your suggested fixes and:

1. The Troubleshooting displayed the warning that "The driver is not working correctly" (which is the same tooltip for Code 43)

2. The driver uninstalled correctly, as always, from the Device Manager.

3. Scanning for Hardware Changes did not reinstall the driver, however upon uninstalling the driver, the "3D Video Controller" displays an error saying that there is no device installed properly. Solving this error by updating the driver reinstalls the NVIDIA
Driver but brings me back to my same error; Code 43.

Bear in mind this issue was supposedly caused by an unknown update last Saturday, as another individual with a similar laptop model as I has the same problem which started at the same time. I do not know if this was an NVIDIA Update or a Windows Update.
Checking updates in the Event Viewer yielded no results. I do not know what caused this error.

 

Windows 10 / Nvidia 1030 - Code 43

After a Windows (Win 10 Home) update yesterday afternoon my son's PC reported the problem shown in the image below.




The result of this means he cannot play the very popular "Fortnite" game which reports this error.





Assuming the problem is caused by either the Windows Update or a driver update have done the following;

• Re-installed the latest Nvidia Driver. This didn't fix the problem.
• Installed the previous set of Nvida Drivers. This didn't fix the problem.
• Via the Control Panel / Device Manager I disabled and enabled the device. This didn't fix the problem.
• Via the Control Panel / Device Manager I used the "update driver" feature. This didn't fix the problem.
• I did a system restore to the day before. This did not complete with Windows reporting the Anti Virus software may have prevented the process. Default Windows Defender is the AV.
• I disabled the AV and tried system restore again. This didn't fix the problem.

In all other areas the system is functioning fine although my son said he had low FPS on Rainbow Six Siege which he tried to play when Fortnite wouldn't launch.

The PC is just over a week old so I am doubtful of any hardware issues with no other symptoms or errors showing.

So...any ideas or suggestions for next steps please?

 

Code 43 for NVidia GeForce GT 750M on a Dell Laptop 9530

This did not work.

In the end, I decided to format the hard drive and do a clean install of Windows 10. I tried to follow various recommendations that I found online in order to get the Nvidia driver installed via the Nvidia website and Geforce Experience.

This process did not work either. Even with a clean install of Windows 10, the drivers were still resulting in an Code 43 error. I tried various drivers and steps, each with a clean install to kick things off.

Eventually, I simply let Windows install the drivers that it determined were appropriate and that seems to work. My best guess is that after two years of using Nvidia drivers and the Geforce experience to keep things updated something broke.

I'm no longer going to be using the Geforce experience to update the drivers.

Everything is working now, but I don't have a clear answer about what created the problem or exactly what eventually got things to work.
