    error code 45 with my Graphic card GTX 970


    CPU: Intel CoreTM i7-7700KGraphic card: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GMotherboard: Asus Prime B250 proMy display card could not be detected since I installed one of the quality updates of Window 10 20H2 on 29/04/2021. The problem comes when I reboot the computer after installing the window update. And then my graphic card couldn't work properly while the window started. An error code 12 is found in the device manager. I was able to see the graphic card with a yellow exclamation mark. I used the scan new hardware function of the device manager but it didn't help.A few days later, my graphic card sud

    NVIDIA Graphics card has a code 45 in the device manager.

    Hi Brandon,

    Error Code 45 occurs if a device that was previously connected to the computer is no longer connected. That being said, please try to run a hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps. To do this, kindly follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key, type "control panel" and select Control Panel.
    • Under the View by: option, select Small icons.
    • Click Troubleshooting> Hardware and sound>
      Hardware and Devices      > Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Also, you can try to uninstall the NVIDIA driver and reinstall or even download the latest driver for your graphics card coming from the manufacturer.
