Windows 10: ERROR CODE 80048869

Discus and support ERROR CODE 80048869 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I was trying to log-in to my GFWL. Every time I get error saying:Login Error. Unable to login.     ERROR CODE 80048869


    I was trying to log-in to my GFWL.


    Every time I get error saying:Login Error. Unable to login. Entered Windows Live ID or password is not valid. Enter your login details and login again. Code: 80048869.


    ...Exception type Microsoft.GamesForWindows.XLiveServices.LiveIdWrapper.IDCRLException.


    Please help.

    Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. I looked up that error code you listed and there are a number of different causes for the error. In order to help me track down what may be causing the issue I'd like to gather a little bit more information
    from you about the issue.



    • Can you please list for me what you're trying to do on the phone when you receive the error? Please include all the steps when listing what you're trying to accomplish.
    • Are there any secondary error codes in parenthesis? For example: 80048869 (XXXXXXXX). If so could you please let me know what the secondary error code is?
    This information will allow me to be able to better track down the issue so we can work on resolving it.
