Windows 10: Error Code 8007003 in preparing to install

When I try to upgrade Windows 8.1 with Bing tablet to Windows 10 in Windows update i get
Error Code 8007003 in preparing to install phase.
When choosing try again it re downloads everything and same error appears.
I tried cleaning Windows Update files and running troubleshooter but it doesn't help.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

If I try to upgrade from windows 10 home ISO will my activation be fine.

Thank you for posting on the forum.

I understand that you're having difficulties playing back some of the music content that you have purchased in the past.

From what you're describing the Sync process does not go through properly.

The fact that some of the songs play only for 30 seconds would indicate that your phone is pulling that content from the Xbox Music Streaming Service, when you don't have an active Xbox Music Pass Subscription you will only be presented with the 30 sec.

Easiest solution to your in your situation would be to manually transfer the purchased content that you have stored on your PC onto your phone via USB connection. If you're having difficulties utilizing the Windows Phone App for the purpose, try copying
your music onto your phone with the use of Windows Explorer/File Explorer on your PC.

Hi, instead of using windows update try using the media installation tool and selecting upgrade this pc when prompted

Sure thing, I have had to use it on certain systems because windows update wasn't' functioning properly

 

Media creation tool downloaded windows 10 I accepted EULA everything went OK until some time later I got mysterious error that only said Can not install Windows.
Now tablet will not boot to windows 8.1 and goes in to repair mode and fails to repair.
After some digging I found that Windows 10 install changed some partitions (I think OEM partition).
Anyone knows how can i fix or reinstall windows 8.1 with Bing?
There is no ISO for this version available from MS.

So basically my tablet has become a expensive paper weight *Smile at least for now.

Edit seems I'm not only one having this problem

It's not solved

 

The only solution that worked was doing clean install of windows 8.1 activating it and then installing Windows 10 update using update tool it worked without problem.
But I restored my windows 8.1 image because windows 8.1 just feels so much faster that it pain to use windows 10.
