    When i tap on check for updates it gives error 80072efd , Protection definition update failed. A connection with the server could not be established.

    When you run Microsoft Windows Defender, you receive one of the following error messages:

    • Error Code 0x800106ba Application failed to initialize
    • Error Code 0x800106ba The systems license has expired. Your logon request is denied.
    This problem may occur after Windows Defender is updated.

    Error Code 80072EFD

    I'm getting this Error Code 80072EFD when i try to open my Windows live ID. i'm not able to to anything without this. I'm unable to install applications, cant able to open skype, cant able to change or update anything. Please help me to resolve this issue
    and give me the detailed steps to be taken to rectify this.
