Windows 10: error code 80072EFE windows 8.1 will not update

i have received this error since reinstalling the DELL recovery disks. I cannot get windows update to find or install updates.i have tried to research this problem using Dell Assistant and running SFC. This is a Dell Inspiron 3521. Can somebody help, please?

recently i refreshed my my windows 8.1 after refreshing it went back to its original version of window 8.

now i am trying to install all important updates so that i can upgrade it to 8.1 but unfortunately it's reflecting error code 80072EFE.

I have tried multiple times to update windows but it's not working . any solution?
