Windows 10: Error code CAA2002 when trying to sign-in to Microsoft whiteboard with my business account

Hi, i cant log in to Whiteboard with my business account. My personal account works fine, but my business account gives an errorcode CAA20002.it is a small business account of which I am the only user 1 person company so there is no administrator to contact ;-

As above, we're receiving the error code CAA2002 when trying to sign-in to Microsoft whiteboard. For whatever reason I can't seem to upload a screenshot, butt's the same as the screenshot on this thread: Microsoft whiteboard unable to sign in - Microsoft Q&A

From searching around i've found two separate suggestions, the first is ensuring TLS 1.2 is enabled, and the second is removing and re-adding the account from Settings -> Accounts -> Access work or school. I've tried both of these but none of them have made a difference.

Is there anything else you can suggest?

Whiteboard through the web seems to work fine, it's just signing into the app that causes the error to occur.

I created a local admin account, but of course I still needed to sign in to whiteboard using a 365 Account. When I signed in to the app using my domain account again I got the same error, but I did get more information with the error message this time





Out of curiosity though, I tried logging in with my personal 365 account rather than my work domain one and that logged in without issue, so it does seem to be an issue tied to our domain accounts

If the personal account is fine, there is nothing wrong with the Whiteboard app. You may need to contact your company IT to inquire more about the limitations of this account.
