Windows 10: Error code ox57 and 0x490

    Error code ox57 and 0x490


    Sometimes when I boot my PC it strats diagnosing itself. When its done it says that I have some sort of a problem and it gives me a directory ( C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt ). When I check the file it says that the boot manager couldn't find the OS loader continued by error code 0x57. Then it says "Boot configuration data store repair" followed by error code 0x490.

    Still looking for a fix for the error code 0x490 for Windows 7.

    Error Code = 0x490

    After running Win7 repair I got a message that stated "Root Cause Found: Unspecified changes to system configuration might have caused the problem"

    Repair Action: System files integrity check & repair

    Result: Failed. Error Code = 0x490

    Is there a way to fix this problem, I am unable to boot up into windows.

    BIOS error codes

    So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

    Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

    Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.
