    Good Day All,


    A few days ago I upgraded from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro, however since I upgraded I've been receiving this message on my laptop:


    Windows

    Edition

    Windows 10 Enterprise

    Activation Windows is not activated

    We can't activate Windows on this device as the previous version of Windows was not activated prior to upgrading to Windows 10. Go to the Store to buy genuine Windows. Error code: Ox803F7001

    If you're having problems with activation, select Troubleshoot to try and fix the problem.


    I bought my laptop at Bestbuy and I didn't activate my Windows 10 Home officially. The laptop just worked fine. I just needed to upgrade to have some of the different features that weren't available on the Home edition.


    I don't know why it is saying Windows 10 Enterprise because my receipt says Windows 10 Pro.


    I've attempted to following the instructions per the activation link in the Windows Update tab but I continue to receive the same message.


    I hope you guys will be able to shed some light on this situation.

    just upgrade to windows 10 and getting this error code. Windows 7 was bought from an authorized dealer with genuine windows 7
