    error code Oxc000012f has caused loss of Windows function and settings


    I have Windows 11 in S mode. I am able to access internet on my computer, but got error code 0xc000012f Bad Image. When I got this code I lost all ability to use the Windows button and access my settings at all. The internet still works but no windows. What does community recommend? I am not too computer savvy.

    Windows Update to 1H21 causes loss of right-click function  

    First step isn't right click. The download is a zip file. The program is portable.

    If you can't even run that, and given other issues, and the length of this thread, and if an in-place upgrade repair install won't help, suggest you're looking at a clean install.
