Windows 10: Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/MountVhd/ERROR FILE NOT FOUND

Hello team, OpenSUSE Tumbleweed software is installed on the user's machine from the Microsoft Store. The user updated the application using the command WSl --update. After the update, couldn't connect to the display error appeared. To fix it, reinstalled the OpenSUSE Tumbleweed from the software store. The existing C drive path mounted to the application is now failed to sync with the application. Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/MountVhd/ERROR FILE NOT FOUNDPlease assist to mount the old C drive files. Regards, Muthu Raman

WSL 2 Error

I Installed WSL 2 recently and started getting the following error , once I open the windows/Ubuntu terminal

Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software.

Error code: Wsl/Service/CreateInstance/CreateVm/0x800700e1



[process exited with code 4294967295 (0xffffffff)]

Kindly help me to troubleshoot this error.

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

WSL fail to start after upgrade to 22H2

I was using Ubuntu on WSL 2 before the upgrade to 22H2. After the upgrade I get the following error when trying to start it but cannot find any references to this specific error code:

PS C:\Users\derek> wsl -l -v

NAME STATE VERSION

* Ubuntu Stopped 2

PS C:\Users\derek> wsl

The service has not been started.
