Going by the list Activision is doing it wrong. They need to release a new MW or CoD quarterly.

Hmm, not listed in Programs and Features or Apps and Features, and there is no shortcut in the Start Menu ?

Unusual for a game that has just been installed from disc.

My COD4-MW is disc based and it is listed in both Programs and Features and Apps and Features (no Start Menu shortcut

because I don't let games make one while installing if they offer an option not to).

Have you rebooted since installing the base game ?

It's possible that because the game is not showing in Programs and Features that Windows does not recognise the game,

so the expansions can't find the game either.

Is there a - Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - folder with the games

Registry keys in your Windows Registry ?

- If not, deleting the games folder from your Program Files (x86) and reinstalling the game may help. Try reinstalling in a non default location

(a new games folder in C:\, or better on another Partition or HDD\SSD).
