Windows 10: Error creating Image in Azure

Hi,



Keeps migrating a local server to Azure (Virtual Machine). Have uploaded the VHD file, but when I create an "Image" based on that file I get the error message:

Could not create image 'host1'. Error: At least one resource deployment operation failed. Please provide distribution operations for details. Please see Troubleshoot common Azure deployment errors | Microsoft Docs for details.

Have tried to check out the page "https://aka.ms/arm-debug"men does not get anything out of the page. How to solve this? And where do you find the specific error messages?

Not seeing the error you posted just the create virtual machine option in azure blade.

I teach azure for a living so let me know where you are stuck at and I can definitely help.

But the easiest and fastest way to create a VM is click create a resource in the top left and then click compute. From there select the o/s you want to create.
