    Error in reinstalling Windows 10


    When trying to reinstall W10, the installation fails with error 0x80004005 I was resetting my Laptop before handing it on to a friend, but unfortunately I went too far and deleted everything. My Repair disc would not repair the installation. And I do not have a backup.When I bought the laptop it came with Windows 8.1, and I was able to reinstall that from an ISO, but doing the same with Windows 10 won’t work. I had updated to W10 at the time it came out, but of course I don’t have a product key, although I do have a set of 8 X 6 numbers, which I don’t know is for! A
