    ERROR installing Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H2 5 - 0xc1900101


    I've tried to install the update twice now, the first time i woke up to my computer off and upon rebooting it undid the update so i tried troubleshooting and trying again overnight and the same thing happened. its showing error 0xc1900101I'd really like the update if im able to find out whats wrong. thank you

    Error updating Windows 10 to version 21H2, error 0xC1900101 - 0x40017

    I am on Windows 10 version 20H2, trying to upgrade to version 21H2 and getting error 0xC1900101 - 0x40017



    The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during the BOOT operation.



    I ran SFC and chkdsk and didn't see any problems.



    If I tried to install it again, there was no problem either.



    I tried the update from the Windows update settings, it failed twice and now it is no longer showing up.



    How can I update Windows?
