Windows 10: Error Installing Update 20H2 - 0xE06D7363

Hello,

I am getting the above error whenever I try to install Windows update 20H2, it reaches 64% installing then errors.

I have tried

• Deleting and redownloading
• Uninstalling malwarebytes
• Disabling other applications on startup
• CCleaner to delete junk files / fix registry
• Safe mode (seems you can't update in safe mode)

Maybe a few other things, can't remember, but I just cannot get this update to install, it gets to 64% and breaks, and the error code doesn't seem to appear very often online to do with Windows updates, please help!

1) Taking a RAM module out has not fixed it. Will try again and post the PS log.

That memory window is just showing data for 1 RAM module of course.

If required, I can re-install the second module and post another screenshot.

How is the RAM mismatched out of interest? Will try taking a module out and then updating.

I've run setupdiag too. Result:

1) AVG Free & Malwarebytes Free. Both have been removed (in the case of AVG - with the removal tool as well)

2) No non-Microsoft firewall software.

3) No Microsoft and non-Microsoft drive encryption software.

4) Done.

8) I ran Sea Tools before starting this thread but didn't screenshot it. It took over an hour and passed.

9) chkdsk is running. Will post back.
