Windows 10: Error installing Windows 11 0x80070002

Hello,I am trying to install Windows 11 to my device but I keep getting this error 0x80070002. I have tried installing with the ISO tool but also getting errors from that, and I have already done sfc /scannow and DISM commands and ran troubleshooter. I've also set up pagefile correctly and my C: drive has almost 80GB free storage to install. I cannot find any other solutions to help. Please let me know of any other solutions there are.Thank you

2004 update windows 10 error 0x80070002

Hello everyone,

thanks to some of the suggestions here and to some from other sources I have managed to fix the 0x80070002 error breaking up my feature update to 2004.

For completeness' sake and since it may help others, the following steps worked for me.

1. Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website
2. Create a bootable USB drive with the MCT
3. Boot up from this USB Drive
4. Choose install settings, click 'Next', but on the next screen select "Repair your computer" instead of "Install"
5. Choose "Troubleshoot" -> "Startup Repair" and let it finish
6. Restart into Windows and attempt the usual Windows update

It looks like the BCD on my computer had been damaged by the boot loader (Windows 10 + Recovery partition) and running the "Startup Repair" from the installation USB Drive corrected the errors.

 

unable to upgrade to windows 11 error:0x80070002

good evening everyone I just downloaded and created the windows 11 media creation tool and tried to upgrade from windows 10 Pro x64 Edition Version 21H1Build operating system 19043.1266 to windows 11 but the wizard stops showing me the following message "it is not possible to determine if your pc is ready to continue installing windows 11. try restarting the installer" there is a problem select retry if the problem persists contact microsoft support for assistance error code 0x80070002

my pc has all the software and hardware requirements to upgrade to windows 11 i also received the notification via windows update and i also used the microsoft integrity application to check compatibility but in any way i try to update installation assistant or Creating installation media o Downloading disk image (ISO) I always get the same error message I have already tried unsuccessfully to run the sfc / scannow check the check DISM.exe / Online / Cleanup-image / Restorehealth the check chkdsk / f / r uninstall kaspersky
