Windows 10: Error message after factory resetting my HP laptop

I recently factory reset my laptop and upon reinstalling windows 8.1 or 10 I'm completely lost as to which one it has come up with an error message. The error message reads “the computer has unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows click OK to restart the computer then restart the installation. I have tried the ESC, F2, F8, F10 and it just keeps going through the same process. I truly need help if there is someone who can... Please please please!!!

As you have a laptop, ensure that the laptop is not running on battery and the power cable is plugged in to the socket.

Resetting my HP laptop

Since it is a new HP laptop and you want to reset it, instead of using the Windows 10 Reset, why not use the HP Factory Restore application, it should be located on your Start Menu - the alphabetical list - scroll down to the HP suite of apps and look
for recovery . . .
