Windows 10: Error message popping up frequently, even when no Office program is running

I've been getting an error message every 30 minutes or so with this message, even when no Microsoft Office programs are running.


"C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub...\LocalBridge.exe


The parameter is incorrect."


I tried both the offline and online repair of Office and rebooting and the error message persists. I can still use all Office programs as normal, but the error popping up often is very annoying and I'd like to get rid of it.

Office 2013 error

I get this error in Office 2013 every time I open an Office 2013 document. Anyone got any ideas? I followed the error message and it still pops up every time?

Office 2013 error message: Op System is not configured to run this app


Hello,

I am trying to help my parents through an issue that appeared last evening. When trying to launch an application in Office 2013 the following error message appeared "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application"

Office 2013 was installed on their computer back in August and had been working fine until last evening. I did some digging on the microsoft site and tried the online repair of office 2013 but the error still remained. In addition, I tried uninstalling Office 2013 and reinstalling the app but that didn't fix the problem either. As of now, windows thinks Office 2013 is installed because it is sitting in the Programs and Features section, but there are no active icons and windows will not let me uninstall through Programs and Features.

Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to fix this, or any next steps to try.

ERROR 53 message

Hello,

Run-time Error 53 indicates that there is a missing Windows component. A program you're trying to use will display that error message if the program is attempting to use a dynamic link library, or DLL, file that has been deleted or was never installed properly.

We would like to know some information:

• Have you done any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

For initial troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you try to run
System File Checker. It will scan for corrupted files and restore it.

If that didn't work, we suggest that you try to uninstall and reinstall the app.
