Windows 10: Error message says that my password is incorrect

When opening Windows Live Mail, it asks for my user name and password. I get an error message that says that my password is incorrect. I changed my password yesterday as I wanted a new password and have made sure the box is checked that says to remember my password. What do I do next?

here is how my screen look like




i am a bit confused between the PIN and password. Before the issue i was entering 4 digit number (i am guessing that's the PIN), since the issue, that PIN wasn't working, so i went into Microsoft account to change the password, i tried to enter numbers but it says needs to be a combination of letters and numbers for the password. Changed the password, went back to my Aesus laptop to enter that new password to get the message The password is incorrect, Try again
