Windows 10: Error message when trying to print picture on hpsprocket

Hi,

My desktop computer HP Envy runs the Windows 10 64-bit OS.

I purchased the HP sprocket photo printer because after some research I discovered that you could connect this device to a desktop computer via Bluetooth and just send photo files to the printer to print which is all that I want to do. I don't own a smartphone or tablet so the app they provide is useless to me. I was able to add the device and connect it via Bluetooth, but when I tried to send a photo file to the printer I received the following error message: A non-blocking socket operation could not be completed immediately

Does anyone know what this is, why it's happening, and how to fix it?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank so much.

I would suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices” troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

  Press “Windows key + X”.

  Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Search box and hit enter.
  
• 
  Select “Hardware and Sound” from the Troubleshooter Window.
  
• 
  Select “Hardware and Devices” under Devices option.
  
• 
  Follow the On Screen instructions.

Windows 10 printing issue while printing picture from Document files.

• When you say that "I cannot print a picture from my Documents file", are you trying to print a picture present in a word document file or trying to print a picture on Windows 10?

Pictures won't print

Hello,

To print a photo, you may use the Photos app. Follow these steps:

• Open the Photos app and then click on the picture.
• Click the 3 dots icon and then choose Print.
