  1. Error message with printer saying," There was a problem......module could not be found". ?

My HP printer would not print. I was getting the error message ....no module could be found. I went on line and a lot of people with various printers were getting the same error message. Other people were telling them all kinds of things to try including what seemed to me as strange commands, turning things off, getting high powered connections, unplugging things. I was hearing that I needed new drivers because I had done a factory reset. I went to the HP help website and downloaded a printer fix and clean "doctor" program. It claimed to clean and fix everything for the specific HP printer that one would have and it was very easy. My printer still would not print. Then I noticed that every time I clicked print, at the bottom of my screen a colorful large capital N would appear. I clicked on it to see what it was and it was something called Note One or something. I guess it downloaded as an extension when I did updates after my reset. Anyway, then when I looked on the window that opens after you select Print, the one where you type in how many copies and what pages, I saw a little drop down box that said Note One. Ihad never paid any attention to that box, like about everything else. So I clicked that box and I had three choices; Note one, My HP printer model and something else. I put my printer in that box and then my printer worked perfectly. So, as you can tell, I am not a tech person, but I think some people might have the same reason that their printer wont print. Check it out.

    :)

    Can't share printer—getting error message

    Step 1: Go to store.
Step 2: Buy a less shitty printer.
Step 3: Pick up some beer while you are there.
Step 4: Enjoy both your new printer and your beer.

In all seriousness, I have had more issues with Lexmark printers and their shitty drivers then any other manufacturer, HP is a close second though.

However, if you don't want to get a new printer*Laugh , and I can understand that, when my Lexmark was giving me the same troubles in Win7(and Vista) I had to make sure the Windows firewall was ON and the firewall service was enabled and running. After I shared it I could re-disable the firewall and firewall services.

    Can't share printer—getting error message

Not working... I see the printer, but when I go to add it, I get this messge: "Windows could not connect to the printer (error 0x0000000d)."

I installed the 32-bit drivers for it and printed something out from the pc the printer is connected to, and I went to the additional drivers page and added drivers for 64-bit, and when I went to add the printer on the other machine, it copied drivers over, but after that I got the error message listed above...
