I'm trying to install Haste, but I keep getting “Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified location exists and is writable.” I've tried the restart explorer option but nothing changes. Are there any fixes to this?

DVD`s Wont run - error opening installation log file

Hello,

I have upgraded my computer to Windows 10, added all the latest updates and everything was fine until I went to add software onto the PC. None, and I mean none of my DVDs will load or run.

When I try installing my Adobe Photoshop DVD it keeps coming up with this....

"error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.

I have tried many ways and can't work around it at all.

 

Installation Error For Some Programs

When I try to install Davinci Resolve 14 and Itunes, I get a message from Windows Installer saying "Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable".

I would be very grateful if anyone can help.

According to Microsoft, This error code is because of log file.
