Windows 10: Error pop-up "Permission denied on target program"

Hi,


I run a program called Arsclip on my laptop it's a very handy clipboard program. It runs in the background from startup and an icon sits in the system tray. It doesn't need to be installed so I run it from a folder on a disk other than my C: drive. I'm not sure which update may have caused this issue but when I left-click on the icon now I get the pop-up shown in the title. I then click OK and the Arsclip clipboard pop-up is displayed as normal. My Windows user is set to Administrator. I have tried various change of ownership actions on the Arsclip folder but still the error appears. The only way I can stop getting the error is to change the Arsclip shortcut to run as administrator and start it manually. Windows fails to run Arsclip as Administrator during start-up.


Anybody any ideas?

Permission denied

Hey,

I recently downloaded a program, the basic miktek installer on my laptop but every time I try to run the program I keep getting error messages that say, "Permission denied" and list the path for said program within my computer.

Please let me know how to fix the issue. Thank you

 

annoying pop up: "user accounts...use the list below to grant or deny users permission"

This pop up keeps re-appearing. How do I deactivate it? It's not the one that notifies me if a program wants to make a change to the computer. It says: "user accounts...use the list below to grant or deny users permission"

I have tried changing passwords, etc. it just keeps popping up.
