    Error ~ Remote device or resource won't accept the connection


    Hello ~ Past couple months, I randomly get above error message when trying to connect to sites online. I've read how to fix by checking internet properties/connections/LAN settings/uncheckproxy, check automatically detect settings. I've done this fix so many times now but it keeps reverting back. I also set internet explorer to default settings, as suggested by something I read.


    I use Avast and have run a couple scans. No problems. I downloaded Malwarebytes and Super AntiSpyWare ~ no problems.


    What else to do or check?
