Windows 10: Error sync time zone Windows 10 pro - Error Canberra Time

Good morning, A colleague of mine at work has an Asus Vivobook laptop which, only when he is at work in the office, does not synchronize with our time it practically does not connect to our GMT+2 time zone. The time that automatically sets itself is the time zone of Canberra, Australia! We tried several times to synchronize with time.windows.com server and also with other NTP synchronization servers but no luck... We set the time manually but after half an hour his laptop tries to do a synchronization and it gets wrong again. There are 20 of us in the company and only he has this problem

Unable to change the time zone in Windows 10

I'm running Windows 10 Pro. My time zone is Jerusalem, but I need to change it to Eastern to test a program I'm working on.

The time zone won't change. I have tried:

• From the clock/calendar, when I change it - it changes back.
  
• From Control Panel - Date and Time, "Change time zone..." - when I click save I get the message "Error occurred - your changes could not be saved."
  
• As the Built-in Administrator from the command line using tzutil - I get the message "Insufficient privileges to set the current time zone."
  

The registry key TimeZoneInformation has Full Control for Administrators

Administrators are listed in the Local Security Setting "Change the Time Zone"

Any suggestions?

 

Time sync error


Time is consistently slow anywhere from 3-25 mins.
Steps I've taken
Changed the sync local from windows to nist gov(and every other option).
Verified correct time zone/region.
Unregistered and re-registered w32tm.
Created a task that first runs windows time then runs sync and repeats the process every ten minutes.
Checked time in command prompt against system time(cmos check) matched.
Replaced the cmos battery anyway.
Clean install of Win 10.
Updated every driver verified no yellow? in device manager.
I can manually fix the issue but I paid for windows and don't see why something as simple as a clock should require my attention on a daily(hourly) basis.
I've put a lot of money into this PC and it may be petty but it drives me bat**** every time I look at the time and it's off by 2 mins to 3 hrs.
I consider myself pretty windows savvy and am at wits end, any solution to the problem will be met with the warmest of welcomes.

Hi Dean,

Try the classic “Date and Time” applet in the classic Control Panel as a workaround.

You can launch it via Control Panel or run timedate.cpl via the Run dialog.
