for two months my laptop screen has blue screen and on screen it was written that an autoatic repair needed,Then there are two options: 1restart the pc 2 press F8 for start -up settings. but after the restart there is same problem saying "There is a problem with a device connected to your pc.An unexpected I/0 error has occurred" and after pressing F8 ,there are 9 option to choose.SO, I Select F2 option enable the boot logging. after that my pc working again, but after shut down it's same again showing automatic repair needed .Please solve my problem

RAID 0 Error

On bootup, when the list of bootable devices flashes on screen, one of my hard drives (part of a two disk RAID 0) has "error" next to it.

What could be the problem?
It cant be too serious, considering that my computer is still running perfectly.

Does anyone have any ideas of possible issues/solutions?
Any hard drive diagnostic software i can try?

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

DNS Error Problems.

Hello everybody.
I had absolutely no problems connecting to the internet until today. I am using the sys. in my sig. When trying to connect to any web site, either with IE or Firefox, I get a dsn error. If I connect using my MSN logon I have no problem. After I use the MSN software both IE and Firefox connect most of the time. I use verizon dsl and connect via a router. Any suggestions PLEASE.
