    I am trying to install SAGE 50, version 30.1 64 Bit. Onto my 1 day old laptop which runs windows 11 64bit. I have tried everything I can find to help on microsoft community. But the problem persists. There is no contact for microsoft for live chat or phone call.Can anyone help? Thanks

    Problems installing Hotsync 4.5, a required DLL is missing.

    ""Error. There is a problem with this windows installer package. A DLL required for this intall to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vender.""

    This is after a complete reinstall of Win XP on a HP Laptop,and downloading a fresh copy of HotSync ver 4.5.



    Suggestions any one?? Thanks

    "There is a problem with Windows Installer package"

    I tried your suggestion and turned off the iolosystem shield an ran the installation again. The Infection Blocked message went away but the Windows error message still came up.: "There is an problem with this Windows installer package. A DLL required for
    this install to complete could not be run." I also ran the "Unregister Windows Installer" and then "reregister Windows Installer" I also ran the installer as Administrator. I have installed other complex programs with success. Cerious Software Support insists
    that it is a Windows installer problem. Is there a way to just re-install the Windows installer package?
