Windows 10: Error when connecting to 2nd display.

Hello,

My pc is having dp port Display Port and my 2nd monitor is having VGA port Video Graphics Array Port. So I bought a Splitter of Dp Male to VGA female and when i connect my splitter and cable together it automatically connects and disconnects. I tried buying that cable again then also the same problem repeated. Please give me a solution as fast as possible.

2nd display not detected

Hi Michael

When you clean installed Windows 10, did you then install a full set of device drivers from the support page for your laptop on the manufacturers website?

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand out the Display Adapters section

What is the video card listed there?

Are you connecting to that 2nd display via a HDMI cable?

You would have to do that on your Router's setup webpage. 1st step is to turn on WiFi encryption and password. 2nd step, if you feel you need to, is set up an access list of the physical MAC addresses for the network adapters of the computers you want to allow to connect. Any other network adapter not on that MAC filter list won't be able to connect. (but MAC addresses can be easily spoofed, if the third person knows which MAC addresses are allowed).
