    Error when installing DxO's Nik Collection 5 and 6


    I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 11 Pro. I have tried to install DxO's Nik Collection software, both versions 5 and 6. I get the following error code when trying to install it: 0x80070659. I understand this code indicates a configuration error in Windows. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this error? I have tried Windows troubleshooter and Resoto to try and resolve configuration errors but I have not been able to solve the problem.Thanks.

    0x80070643 Error on installing latest Nik collection

    I was trying to install Nik collection 4.0 (latest version) the following error is being displayed.I have tried to download another copy of the nik collection but same issue. I am on Version 21H1 Build 19.043.1023

    Selective Tool error message - what??

    From that application path the DxO folder indicates this is part of the Nik Collection by DxO.

    Error when installing DxO's Nik Collection 5 and 6

    0x80070643 Error on installing latest Nik collection

    A few things to try:

    1) Right click on the package that you downloaded and choose properties. If it is an archive file of some sort (ZIP, RAR, etc.) do this before you extract the files. Look for a box on the General tab that says unblock. If you see this box, place a check in that box and then click on OK. Try to install it again.

    2) Try to install the program as administrator by right-clicking on the installer and selecting "Run as administrator" if that option is available.
