Discus and support error when moving Page File off of C:\ [Windows 10 Pro version 21H1 os build 19043.1165] in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I am critically low on drive space on C:\. as part of my trying to make more space availible, I am trying to move the page file from C:\ to D:\. but...     I am critically low on drive space on C:\. as part of my trying to make more space availible, I am trying to move the page file from C:\ to D:\. but after rebooting, I am shown the following message after login: I looked at the advanced system menu for the pagefile, and while it did create the pagefile on D:\ it also created the "temporary" page file on C:\ as well. Is moving the pagefile off of C:\ no longer allowed in windows?

    UPDATE: How to get the Windows 10 May 2021 Update version 21H1


    Windows 10 21H1 for desktop will be build 19043, confirming once again that it will be another cumulative style release that sits on top of version 2004. It won't be a full blown OS release.

    That, I'm afraid, is the price you pay for installing an Insider build. 21H1 has not been released to the public yet and the Release Preview may still have bugs. You are not the only Insider to see this....
