Windows 10: Error when trying to run setup file on Windows 10 installation

Discus and support Error when trying to run setup file on Windows 10 installation in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I have just downloaded windows 10 Enterprise in ISO format.     I have just downloaded windows 10 Enterprise in ISO format. I copied the files to a usb drive and when I run the setup.exe file, I get an error message. I then extracted the files and the setup.exe file isn't there. Why the error message?

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

    New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

    If downloading a 3,5 GB file isn’t a problem then try Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, it’ll download Windows 10 image and setup installation files on USB stick.

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
