When I try to upgrade to Windows 11, the installation fails and rolls back to my previous operating system with the error: We couldn’t install Windows 10.We’ve set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10.

    Hi Peter,

There are multiple factors that we need to consider why you’re getting the error “0xC1900101 - 0x30018” when upgrading to Windows 10 Pro 1703. For us to isolate the issue, we will need to ask you a few questions:

Same here, have tried it at least three times to no avail. Installation gives a BSOD after second reboot at 32% of installation (6% of apps and drivers). It tries to resurrect the installation, fails, and rolls back to original OS, Windows 7 Ultimate, in my case. On return to W7 it gives the dreaded error code 0xc1900101-0x30018. Will be following this thread to see if any possible solution arises.

Edit: During one of my attempts, I unplugged the USB drive and the Wifi USB, this did not help unfortunately.
