I signed in Windows 11 after a few months of inactivity on that machineThe machine is a dedicated local machine exclusively for work only and is not associated with my MS account to set a security firewall on an account level.The system has flagged the correct PIN number as false quite surprisingly, leading to an incorrect sign-in.Interestingly, just one time out of many attempes, sign-in was successful but it goes to sleep mode quickly to lock, including the legitimate PIN sign-in. Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

• Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using before reinstalling Windows?
• Have you tried resetting your PIN?
• Did you get any error messages after you verified the PIN you entered?
